Photons as carriers
Light is a natural messenger for quantum information because it can travel through fiber and free space. The challenge is preserving fragile correlations.
Warm does not mean easy
Operating at room temperature removes one engineering burden and exposes others: drift, loss, fabrication variation, and detector noise.
